Using earphones/headphones safely can make a great listening experience but be sure to keep the volume low and take breaks. Most smart phones, tablets and computers have ways to control/monitor listening levels to protect hearing; use them especially for children and teenagers who are not always aware of the long-term effects of hearing damage.
